2019 was full of new experiences for me, with special gigs like in Brazil at the magical Adhana Festival on NYE, or that amazing afternoon at Ozora Festival’s Pumpui stage before the Extrawelt/Midimilliz hibrid live set. This was one of the most important days in my life so far.
In the end of the year I released my recent studio mix titled ‘Psychotechno’ when I tried to summarize the past decade and set out the way to the future at the same time.‘2020 is going to be an incredible year’, I said then and I was right: The world changed irreversibly and we still cannot see how everything will be like.
I started the year at the legendary festival in Panama called Tribal Gathering where I was invited to by Boshke Beats that was one of the most important labels for me when I started to play as a dj and organize parties back in the 2000’s.
This is very interesting moment musicwise - I believe a new style is borning right now and I’m proud I can be part of it. In the quarantine I’m already working on my first album that hopefully will emerge everything I was looking for.” - Subotage
